Patrick T. Snyder
Patrick Snyder attends Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he is a second year law student. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago. Patrick grew up in West Dundee, IL.
Patrick spends much of his time outside of studying and working at Willens Law Offices working as a Philip H. Corboy Fellow in Trial Advocacy at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Patrick plans to pursue a career as a trial lawyer, and receives a scholarship as well as advocacy training as part of the Corboy Fellowship. He represents Loyola University Chicago School of Law in mock trial competitions all over the country, throughout the academic year, and spends much of his time each week preparing for these competitions, in addition to receiving some of the best advocacy training in the country.
During his first year of law school, Patrick worked as a judicial extern in the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Honorable Judge Patrick J. Sherlock, authoring legal memoranda and conducting legal research. Prior to law school, Patrick lived in Houston, TX and worked as a real estate paralegal, and is a graduate of the Paralegal Certificate Program at the University of Houston.
Patrick is an enthusiastic sports fan, particularly of the Chicago Bears and Wisconsin Badgers and enjoys participating in fantasy sports throughout the year. Patrick spends his free time swimming indoors and outdoors, playing board games with friends, and taking advantage of Chicago’s vibrant theater scene. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the Burns Legacy Foundation, an Illinois 501(c)(3), nonprofit charity. The Burns Legacy Foundation funds charitable causes, and provides grants to nonprofit organizations all over the country, whose missions support a wide range of causes.
