Octavio Duran, personal injury attorney at Willens & Baez works tirelessly helping people who were victims of negligence achieve justice.
During the week, he can be found at his desk very early in the morning getting ready for his day of court calls, depositions, phone calls and meetings with clients. Look for him in his office after hours and you’ll probably find him there until late at night. So when the weekend comes, you’d think he’d want to do things for himself, other than laundry and grocery shopping of course. However, Duran finds time to give back. He volunteers his personal time to being a mentor and guide for a Juvenile Mentoring Initiative Program. Duran understands the importance of helping develop his mentee’s life skills and hopes that his mentee will go on to graduate high school, college and achieve great things in his life. Recently, Duran took his mentee to the Loyola v. Cleveland State basketball game. Duran (second from right) posed with the Loyola Dance Line after the game. Hmmm, maybe he does take some time for himself.
